About the Course

This comprehensive 3 day course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies; enabling all participants  to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way. The qualification is ideal for those already  working, or preparing to work within industry wishing to become a qualified first aider in the workplace meeting the statutory HSE requirements for the employer . The course focuses on emergency care and first aid for those who become sick or injured at work.

The 3 day course includes course materials, expert tutoring and practical scenarios. Each delegate will receive  a colourful comprehensive manual  and a certificate that will be valid  for 3 years.


It can be attended over three consecutive days or you can split the course so that it is scheduled 1 day per week over 3 weeks (with prior arrangement); as long as it is completed within 10 weeks.


Assessment: You will be required to successfully complete a short multiple choice paper and will be assessed on your practical skills to qualify for your certificate.

This First Aid at Work has a mix of theory and practical elements. You will be required to kneel on the floor for some of the practical elements.

  • Students should be aware that they must attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment.

  • Students must be physically able to carry out the practical assessments detailed in the course content to achieve the course certificate.
